From a 10 year old boy standing on the beach at Dromana, watching a in ore as a man and a small boat with a huge motor, a blue red and white Tennessee doing fly buys up and down the beach.
To
Having a ride in the Tennessee ,
To
10 years later the man lent us his boat and motor to compete in the 1995 Midura 100
To
Having driving lessons in "South Park"
To
lending props when we first started ski racing
To
rejecting carbys at midnight before a race
To
putting the "Good Mockys" on when we went out for dinner
To
countless good times

The only man i new to be doing 90+MPH, no goggles, no sun glasses , tears streaming out of his eyes and absolutely loving it.

you will be truly missed

RIP Steve McKenzie

Very sad news to hear about Steve , was definitely a character of our sport , a member of the VOC who loved boat racing and living in the fast lane . Will be sadly missed !!
