 Post subject: Melbourne Runabout & Speedboat Club : Vic champs 5th Oct

MRSBC Club Day 5/10/2014

Listed below is information relating to the above event to be held on the 4th and 5th of October at the Melbourne Runabout and Speedboat Club. The M.R.S.B.C is running a Test N’ Tune session on the Saturday afternoon and racing throughout the day on Sunday, incorporating a round of the Victorian Championship Series.

Entry Form:
Be sure to fill out an entry form for every class you intend to participate in.

Entries are due in by the 19th of September, to the Victorian A.P.B.A. Secretary to be eligible for the Victorian Championship Series. Remember only one form needs to be sent before the start of the Series to race in all events.

Entry / Safety Levy:
The entry and safety levy for the entire weekend including 4 pit passes per boat is $100.00 and $20.00 for Formula Future Competitors

Classes to be run:
25 HP / 550cc
6.0 Litre
Unlimited Outboard
105 MPH
Sports Mono MOD VP
5.2 Litre
2100 Superstock
4.2 Litre
1800 Superstock
Formula Future

Camping will be available on site with all amenities open, for the duration of the event. Cost will be $5.00 per head per night. Please be in contact with Mark Shepherdley if you intend to camp so we have a rough idea of numbers.

Please be at the Club Rooms at 5.00pm Sunday. To ensure that presentations commence on time please pitch in and help with the pack up after the cease of racing, so that everybody can attend. The BBQ and Bar will be open.

Scrutineering will be held on Saturday the 4th in the pits, along with Annual Tech Inspections. Only after collecting your Drivers Pack get ready to be scrutineered in the car park before you enter the pit area as directed.

Practice will take place from 2.00pm – 4.00pm on Saturday. Boats must be scrutineered and all drivers’ breath tested before entering the water.

Saturday Test N’ Tune:

Pits Close: 12.00pm Sharp
Practice: 2.00pm – 4.00pm

Sunday Racing:

Pits Close: 8.00am
Drivers Briefing: 9.00am
Racing: 10.00am – 4.00pm
