Hi OR!! could you explain what a ST120 is please? or do you mean a sst120 Mercury?

Must have my wires crossed, thought OMC made an 1800cc 3 cylinder race engine designated SST 120, please enlighten me, Regards,

Hi OR there was an OMC sst 60 3 cyl but that is under 1000 cc. could be used in the 1800 class but would probably have to be a small boat to be competitive with the bigger capacity engines.
There are some more modern options, the 130 Yamaha goes well as does the 115 60 deg OMC. there will be an E tech 1115 HO running soon and I beleive the 140 Tohatsu would do well!! :top

I think Or maybe refering to The SST100 V4.I received a call a while back regarding my KR15 Strangler.Although this motor is not 4 sale,I have a 1800cc v4 omc looper 90 deg. with adaptor plate to suit Strangler mid and gearbox. I can supply as complete unit,clubfoot 14:23 including prop,all good cond.Reply if interested.Peter Phillips.

Hi OR that option sounds like a good start!! the SST 100 is a 2000 cc motor. If you can run the small capacity 1800 looper on the Strangler mid that would go really well!! go for it :)
